FACTS v. FICTION
It’s surprising how easily the history of a special car can be misrepresented. This one‑of‑one 1955 Ferrari 750 Monza, the only example built without a headrest tail fin, was restored in 1997 by my friend Bill DeCarr of Bill’s Body Shop in collaboration with me at Palmer Coachworks. I personally hand‑fabricated every aluminum interior panel and was involved throughout the restoration, and I have period photographs and records documenting the work from start to finish.
Recently, some online posts have incorrectly credited this restoration to others. I am sharing these images as my documentation to help preserve the true story behind this unique Ferrari and the craftsmanship that went into bringing it back to life.
